Xiaomi has a new Mi Mix smartphone and a new Mi Note phablet. The new Mi Mix follows the same design concept as the previous version and uses an 18:9 display in a 6″ size (down from 6.4″ with 17:9 aspect ratio). There’s a new camera that uses a Sony IMX386 sensor along with a Snapdragon 835 chip with 6GB of RAM. There are 64GB ($506), 128GB ($550) and 256GB ($613) versions. There is also a special edition model with a ceramic body and 8GB/128GB that costs $720. The phone uses a piezo system for audio and the connector is a USB Type-C.
There is also a new Mi Note phablet, with a 5.5″ display and Snapdragon 660 processor and 6MB of RAM. The cameras are 16MP on the front with dual 12MP on the rear with 2X optical zoom and four axis OIS. Pricing is $383 for 64 GB, $445 for 128 GB and $460 for 128 GB.
