Display Daily’s friend Dr Ray Soneira has had a close look at the Xiaomi Redmi Note11T Pro+ LCD display which is based on FFS technology. The display received Ray’s highest rating of A+ as being in the top tier of smartphine displays. It sets or matches 14 performance records with 8 registering as ‘visually indistinguishable from perfect’.
The 6.74″ display has 2460 x 1080 resolution (407ppi) and has excellent colour accuracy and colour shift. It has 663 cd/m² of luminance with a full white screen and has 107% of DCI P3 and 135% of sRGB in chromaticity coverage. Contrast is 1,301-:1 and screen reflectance of 4.6%, a low level for LCD.
What We Think
Well, it’s unusual to see an LCD getting such high ratings which have typically been reserved for OLED-based devices in recent years. (BR)
