Xiaomi is First With Synaptics’s Sidetouch

Xiaomi has chosen to use a capacitive touch controller solution from Synaptics in its Mi4c smartphone. The Clearpad S3708 controller enables Synaptics’s Sidetouch technology, which enables owners to use the side of the phone for tracking touches; it means that a page can be scrolled without covering the display, for example.
