Wistron expects its notebook shipments to be flat in this quarter, from last quarter’s 4.7 million units. However, the company has told the Taipei Times that it is optimistic for the second half of the year, when Windows 10 and Intel’s new Skylake microarchitecure will be launched. Shipments of smart devices are expected to fall slightly. TVs, displays, servers and other products will be flat or slightly up.
