Microsoft is reported to have changed its mind about the Windows 10X operating system that was intended as a simpler OS for PCs in education and for simpler applications. It is expected to roll out a new UI for Windows 10, code-named ‘Sun Valley’. There are more details of Sun Valley rumours here.
What We Think
Well, it’s typical that we haven’t talked about 10X for about six months until last week when I mentioned it in discussing OS development for flexible devices. (It’s Still the Early Days for Foldable Device Software) If Microsoft had been planning to roll out 10X, I would have expected some comment from the firm, but couldn’t see any. (BR)
