Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe will showcase two display solutions for better hybrid workplace collaboration at ISE 2022 in Barcelona: the 55” NEC MultiSync® WD551 Windows Collaboration Display and the 70” Sharp PN-CD701 Windows Collaboration Display.
Both displays support “Bring-Your-Own-Meeting” (BYOM) scenarios; users simply connect their own device via a secure USB-C cable to immediately share content and start video meetings with familiar Microsoft tools, such as Office 365 and Microsoft Teams. Premium PCAP touch technology makes a natural pen-on-paper writing experience.
Recent market research has shown that people won’t return to the office full-time post-COVID. In the future, the majority of meetings will be hybrid, with some people joining from a corporate meeting room and others joining from home. Future meeting and collaboration rooms will have to address this by offering the right collaborative display solutions.
Both the 55” NEC MultiSync® WD551 Windows Collaboration Display and the 70” Sharp PN-CD701 Windows Collaboration Display do just that. With a single USB-C cable, users can connect their own devices to the solutions. Their familiar interface and tools immediately transition to the screens; the room-scale camera, microphone and speakers are accessed automatically, no matter which video platform they use. In a BYOM set-up, users get frictionless and intuitive hybrid meetings, regardless of when or how far-flung the participants are. This collaborative experience is made even smoother by Microsoft certified tools and the natural writing feel of Premium PCAP touch technology.
“The last two years have shown us that hybrid collaboration is here to stay – and we can’t do it without the right technologies to support us. Customers are looking for an easy and simple way to create hybrid meeting rooms. That is why we focused on developing display solutions that connect teams in hybrid workspaces as frictionlessly and intuitively as possible, without needing any additional training. That makes our displays ideal for anyone who wants to upgrade their meeting rooms”, said Daniela Dexheimer, Senior Product Manager Collaboration Technologies at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe.
Sharp/NEC will showcase the two Windows Collaboration Displays at ISE 2022, which will take place May 10 – 13 in Barcelona. Visitors will find the solutions and the team of Sharp/NEC experts in Hall 3 at stand E600.
