VSP Global announced the launch of Level smartglasses, featuring activity-tracking technology embedded inside the temple of an optical frame. The glasses do not feature a display, but connect via Bluetooth to a smartphone for the display of steps.
The glasses cost $270 without a lens and a number of styles are available.
I confess, initially, I didn’t spot that this was just a step counter. While making them almost the same as real glasses, I’m struggling to see the benefit compared to a Fitbit on the wrist! They do have a ‘find my glasses’ feature which might be useful! (BR)
