A proportion of training orthopaedic surgeons in the US are being taught with VR technology from Osso VR and Immersive Touch.
The technology is currently being used in eight residency programmes, including Columbia, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, UCLA and Vanderbilt. ImmersiveTouch was recently named one of the “Top 6 Healthcare Companies Embracing Virtual Reality”.
Osso VR was founded by gamer-turned-orthopaedic surgen Jason Barad. In this video, Barad introduces the company’s technology.
