Vivo Releases X20 in Hong Kong, Announces Further Expansion

The company has also announced its plans to branch out into Singapore and Taiwan, as well as taking a first step into the European market by releasing in Russia.

Vivo also recently released the ultimate handset for selfie fans. The V7Plus, complete with a top-of-the-line 24-megapixel front-facing camera, is available in India, Thailand, the Philippines, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Cambodia and Bangladesh.

Chinese smartphone manufacturers have gone from strength to strength recently, now holding a 48% combined global market share. According to the latest research by Gartner, Vivo is now the fifth-largest smartphone vendor in the world with a market share of 6.6%.
