Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 to Release in November

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has teamed up with Porsche Design to create a new high-end smartphone, the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10. (Huawei Mate 10 Uses LCD, Mate 10 Pro uses OLED)

The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 comes in an exclusive Diamond Black colour and has a 6″ 2160p FullView display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, HDR10 and a super-slim bezel, and is capable of running two apps side-by-side in split screen mode. The display also features 3D curved glass and an oleophobic surface to reduce smudges and fingerprints.

The new handset also incorporates 6GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM, plus a super-powered 4000mAh battery, intelligent power allocation features and Huawei’s proprietary SuperCharge technology, that allows the user to get a day’s power out of a 20-minute charge.

The device’s in-built rear-facing camera, designed by Leica Camera, packs a 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel f/1.6 aperture dual lense and on-board artificial intelligence features. It can capture 2160p video at 30FPS and 1080p video at 60FPS. The handset also features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera.

Other AI features include the Accelerated Translator, which can translate text, voice, conversations, and images into over 50 languages, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It will run Android’s 8.0 Oreo operating system.

The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 is expected to be released in November.
