Electronic paper company Visionect has developed an electronic label for museum exhibits, called the Amlabel Digital Gallery Display. The first museum to trial the device is the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. The Amlabel is available in 6″ and 9.7″ sizes. Content can be managed through a CMS, and power consumption is low enough that it will run for ‘months’ on battery power.
