Samsung and VirnetX have announced an extension of their partnership for security to communications and data transmissions. Under the terms of the agreement, VirnetX’s security and collaboration software suite, the War Room and VirnetX One, will be integrated into Samsung’s Interactive Displays. The goal of the integration is to offer secure collaboration spaces.
VirnetX and Samsung’s partnership started earlier this year when they joined forces to offer secure conferencing and collaboration spaces for hybrid workforces. The agreement permitted VirnetX to resell Samsung’s digital display products and to implement secure communication management on Samsung Display products. The move was seen as a response to the growing need for high-security, simple communication tools that did not require additional hardware investments.
