Prad.de reported on a new monitor advertised by ViewSonic in China, the VX2716-2KC-PRO which is a 1000R curved quadHD VA monitor with DisplayHDR 600 certification and up to 240Hz refresh rate. Contrast is quoted at 2,500:1.

What We Think
DisplayHDR 600 sits in that middle market position where it’s not the cheapest and it’s not the best, which is probably why we have seen relatively few products featuring the certification. Performance should be quite good. When I first saw the DisplayHDR 400 samples from VESA several CES’s ago, I was surprised by how much better they looked compared to regular monitors. (BR)
