ViewSonic Reveals New Gaming Monitors with Nvidia Reflex Technology

What They Say

ViewSonic has new 24.5″ (XG251G – FullHD 360Hz) and 27″ (XG271QG QuadHD 240Hz) monitors that have G-Sync and support for Nvidia Reflex technology. They are both certified to DisplayHDR400 and cover 99% of the AdobeRGB gamut.

What We Think

I hadn’t checked out the Reflex technology, but there is a 5 minute video here. Basically support for Reflex in a monitor and mouse allows tracking of complete system latency from ‘click to pixel’, allowing optimisation of the system, including using some special GPU features. This is the kind of feature that serious e-Sports players would definitely want in their systems. There are also features that game developers can use to access the data and react accordingly. (BR)
