ViewSonic added three miniLED monitors in its Elite range. The backlights have up to 1,152 zones.
- The 27” Elite XG272G-2K QuadHD has G-Sync up to 300Hz (G-Sync Ultimate) and has an IGZO panel with 576 zones and is DisplayHDR 1000 certified, with 95% of DCI-P3 colour coverage. It will be available in Q3.
- The 32″ Elite XG321UG has an UltraHD IPS panel with 1,152 zones and is DisplayHDR 1400 certified, with 99% of DCI-P3 colour coverage. Refresh is up to 144Hz and is G-Sync Ultimate approved. It will be available in Q1.
- The 34″ Elite XG341C-2K has a 3440 x 1440 curved (1500R) panel with 1,152 zones and is DisplayHDR 1400 certified, with 97% of DCI-P3 colour coverage. Refresh is 165Hz (200Hz with overclocking) supported by AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. Notebook charging is supported up to 90W. It will be available in Q1.
The Elite XG272G-2K and Elite XG321UG support the NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer which measures the delay between the click of the mouse and expected actions.
What We Think
These look like quite straightforward gaming monitors, although reaching the DisplayHDR 1400 certification is pretty good. I doubt they will be cheap with that level of output. (BR)
