ViewSonic in the US has released three new LFDs for 24/7 professional use in 43″, 49″ and 55″ sizes in its CDM series. Brightness is 450 cd/m² and the panels are based on IPS technology (with 3H surface hardness). The bezels are 9.6mm and features include dual-input Pip/Pop operation.
There is an internal media player with a quad core processor with 16GB eMMC storage that is expandable to 32GB with a micro-SD, USB multimedia video playback, and embedded LAN/Wi-Fi and web browser. Coming with content management software, these displays also include an internal Smart Scheduler with seven content storage channels and integrated speaker, making the CDM commercial displays a complete all-in-one solution.
Connections include HDMI, DVI and DisplayPort with loop through as well as LAN & RS-232.
The ViewSonic CDM4300R ($999), CDM4900R ($1299), and CDM5500R ($1699) will be available in January 2017
