The firm said that the monitor covers 99.92% of sRGB (minimum) and has a factory calibrated Delta E<2 value for applications that need accurate colour and the monitor can be calibrated using the optional ViewSonic Colorbration calibration tool, CS-Xri1. There is an internal 14 bit 3D look up table and output is 350 cd/m² (typical) and 280 cd/m² (minimum). Contrast is 1,000:1

There is a DisplayPort input with loop-through and there is also an HDMI 1.5 port as well as USB and mini-Displayport. ViewSonic said the monitor costs $665 (although shown on their own web shop at $540) and the calibrator kit costs $280 (and can be used with the VP2468 and VP2771). It will start to ship this month.
