Userful Taps Nvidia GPUs for Performance

The gist of it: businesses are becoming awash in data, they are becoming invested in artificial intelligence (AI), and their employees are going to need a lot more display real estate to keep up with the explosion of information and expectations of productivity that come with this new age of computing.

Userful has announced that it is going to be using Nvidia GPUs to improve the performance and functionality of its new Userful Infinity Platform. The Userful platform is capable of handling a wide range of applications, from advanced data analytics and AI-driven insights to control room operations, digital signage, immersive experiences, video walls, and local and remote operator consoles.

Userful’s collaboration with Nvidia is expected to result in better handling of complex AV and data processing tasks, making it a safe and visible bet for companies serious about the future of visualization. With the amount of data being generated increasing exponentially, the need for advanced computing and large displays is becoming essential for businesses providing control rooms, managing sensor data, and handling audio-visual services. Multi-monitor setups and large display areas will become necessary for workers to manage the vast amounts of information effectively.

While it may take some time for companies to realize the investment required in screen technologies and display areas, the surge in investment in AI and data management will drive the adoption of these solutions. In the case of digital out of home (DOOH) displays, the addition of personalization through tracking and data is expected to increase adoption rates.
