The US Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission have granted an early end to the waiting period of the antitrust review for the acquisition of Atmel by Dialog Semiconductor (Dialog to Buy Atmel). The companies have also been cleared to proceed by Germany’s Federal Cartel Office.
