US pay TV provider Dish has enabled multi-room Ultra HD Netflix viewing with a new app for its 4K Joey client.
The 4K Joey add-on allows Dish users to stream content from their main Hopper 3 box to other devices via their home network. The Hopper 3 set-top-box can support up to six additional Joey devices.
All users will need to get started is a UHD-capable display, a Netflix premium subscription that includes UHD content ($11.99 per month) and the recommended 25 megabits per second internet connection.
Dish added UHD Netflix capability to the Hopper 3 in April 2016. This latest update allows 4K Joey owners even more functionality and convenience.
