Ultravision Wins Paris Project

Ultravision International said that it has completed installing an outdoor LED display at the Châtelet-Les Halles commuter rail station in central Paris and it is expected to be seen by 37 million visitors as the station has 750,000 visitors per day. The display has 800 x 1440 pixels and is 10′ x 18′ (305 x 585 cm meaning around a 3.8mm pitch, by our calculation). The display is situated inside the Marguerite de Navarre metro entrance, where the Forum des Halles shopping center and the Châtelet metro station converge. The advertising agency, Médiatransports, commissioned the display and is running the advertising programme.

Analyst Comment

Ultravision is a big supplier of displays to Clear Channel UK, through Active International, which put in almost 100 digital displays from the company in the UK in 2016. The 10′ x 20′ (305 cm x 610cm) displays use 7.62mm pitch LEDs.

The company, although it put out a press release, did not include an image of the Paris installation! (BR)
