TVP, the Polish broadcaster, has begun UltraHD tests using the DVB-T2 platform. It aims to test the compatibility of consumers’ HEVC receivers; test the quality of different transmission parameters and reception; to measure and optimise the technical parameters of T2 broadcasts; and, from the 20th July, to compare broadcast quality through different distribution channels, such as online.
