Sigmaintell of China released its data for early September TV LCD panel prices and despite this normally being a ‘hot season’ for TV panel purchases, the firm said that the market was ‘not prosperous’. All the sizes above 32″ continued to fall in price. The firm does think that price drops will narrow and in the case of some small sizes with healthy inventory, they should stop falling.

Eeek! If prices are still falling at this time of year, that is a very bad sign indeed. Still, they do say that the darkest time is just before the dawn! (BR)
