Taiwan Semiconductor reported Q2 2016 net profit of NT$72.5 billion ($2.2 billion), down 8.7% YoY. Turnover for the period was NT$221.81 billion (US$6.91 billion), up 8% YoY. With the exclusion of one-time gains in Q2 2015, the net profit for the period would have increased 17.2%.
