The SRMW-24R-SS is a new sunlight-readable, waterproof monitor from Tru-Vu, for a variety of applications. It can be used in digital signage and outdoor kiosks, as well as industrial uses such as in vehicles, on ships and in manufacturing plants.
A corrosion-resistant stainless steel enclosure (NEMA 4-compliant) protects the 24″ monitor; this enclosure can withstand rain, snow, seawater and more. To ensure that the display is readable in sunlight, Tru-Vu built in a backlight providing 1,000 cd/m² of brightness. The display can operate in -10° to 50° temperatures.
Resolution is 1920 x 1080, with 170°/160° viewing angles, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 5ms response time. DisplayPort, HDMI and VGA inputs are featured.
The monitor is available worldwide now, for $2,550 – although significant discounts are available for volume orders.
