Toshiba Pushes Two Signals At Once

Toshiba’s semiconductor division has developed a dual-picture video processor, for high-resolution automotive displays. Mass production of the TC90195XBG chip is scheduled to begin in June.

The processor supports a single 1920 x 720 display. Alternatively, it can output two video signals at the same time: one to a 1280 x 800 display (LVDS output), and one to an 800 x 480 display (LVTTL output).
