Tianma Microelectronics’ two new small LCD modules are high-brightness units, for use in marine, aviation and other outdoor applications.
The smallest module is 4.3″, with 4-wire resistive touch and 480 x 272 resolution. It has 800 cd/m² of brightness and an 800:1 contrast ratio. The larger (7″) module has 1,000 cd/m² of brightness, a 500:1 contrast ratio and 800 x 480 resolution, using procap touch.
Both modules feature an RGB interface and are driven by a standard MCU. They are available through Tianma’s distributors in the USA now, and will be shown at SID Display Week in June.
