Tianma NLT America and Tianma Microelectronics USA have introduced two new super-fine TFT (SFT) LCD display modules. The SFT technology ensures wide viewing angles.
Both the TM046JDHP01 (4.66″) and TM057JDHP04 (5.7″) products have 1280 x 720 resolution, a 900:1 contrast ratio and 170 deg viewing angles. They are able to operate between -20 deg and 70 deg and use a MIPI interface. Aside from size, the only difference is in their brightness levels: the TM046JDHP01 is rated at 400 cd/m², while the TM057JDHP04 reaches 450 cd/m².
Tianma is producing the displays now; price is on application.
