Eight months ago, in June 2015, Samsung tested a truck equipped with displays on the rear, which would show the road ahead of the vehicle through a camera feed (Overtaking Problem Solved by Samsung?). The stated aim was to increase road safety for overtaking. The company is now testing the truck again in Argentina – in preparation for a global roll-out within the year. The 2 x 2 video wall uses Samsung’s OH46D displays, with IP56 protection.
