TCL Multimedia Result 05/03/2015

TCL Multimedia has announced its full year results, reporting a net profit for the year of HK$234 million ($30.2 million), which included a one-off gain of HK$159 million ($20.5 million) recorded from the closure of certain subsidiaries. Turnover for the year was HK$33.5 billion ($4.3 billion), down 15.1% year on year. Sales volume of LCD TVs in the PRC market decreased by 14.1% YoY to 8.51 million sets, while in the overseas market sales volume increased by 10.8% to 8.06 million sets, of which sales in the strategic ODM business rose by 48.6% to 2.41 million sets.
