AUO and Innolux released their financial results for June. AUO was down 5.8% on May and 39% on June 2021 in revenue to $694 million. For the year, the firm is down 19.1% to $4.85 billion. Area shipped was down to 4.92 million m², down 23.2% on last year.
Innolux said that it was up 7.1% on May but down 38.8% on last year at $647 million. Large panels were up by 5.7% in units to 11.19 from last month. Small and medium-sized products were 30.39 million units, an increase of 11.1% MoM.
What We Think
Well, this result is no surprise given the price drops since last year. Innolux was up on May partly because last month was so bad. (BR)
