Streaming Goes Multi-Screen – On One Screen

A new streaming device from 4SeTV is designed to bypass scheduling conflicts that arise when people want to watch different programmes. The product can be used with a tablet, smartphone or PC, and will show four live TV programmes at once on the same screen – or four different shows on four separate devices.

Using over-the-air broadcasting, the 4SeTV streams content to any connected device(s) in a home network. It connects to an HDTV antenna and router, via an ethernet cable. There is no subscription fee. Broadcast content is captured by the antenna and relayed to the 4SeTV, then streamed to connected devices. These devices can also cast the content to a TV.

An app is available for iOS and Android devices. 4SeTV was showing its product at NAB and is funding it through a Kickstarter campaign (http://tinyurl.com/p2rxmx2) now. The first units are priced at $100 for early adopters and will be shipped in July.
