Bang & Olufsen a/s returned to profit in the third quarter, posting a net profit of DKK17 million ($2.4 million) on turnover of DKK800 million ($115 million), which compares with a net loss in Q3 of the previous year of DKK32 million ($4.6 million) on turnover of DKK 675 million ($97 million). For the first nine months of the year, the company’s net loss widened to DKK164 million ($23.6 million) from DKK77 million ($11.1 million) for the corresponding period of the previous year, while turnover increased slightly to DKK 2.1 billion ($302 million) from DKK2 billion ($287.6 million) a year earlier.
