Having only just completed providing Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) to its TVs, Sony is now starting the roll-out of Android 7.0 (Nougat) to 2017 and late 2016 models. The update will have picture-in-picture, support for bluetooth headphones (2017 models only), Google Cast 4K and support for HLG HDR, as well as fixes for some earlier bugs and optimised performance. The company promised that Dolby Vision “will follow” for its A1 OLED and the X93E, V94E and Z9D models.
