Taiwanese sources say that Sony Mobile Communications’ smartphones shipments rose more than 20% QoQ in Q4’14, to 11.9 million units. Combined shipments for Q1-Q3 in Sony’s fiscal year were 31.2 million units. More than 8 million handsets are expected to be shipped in this quarter, achieving Sony’s target of 39.2 million smartphones shipped in the fiscal year.
