Sony To Bring Brightest Laser Projector to ISE

Sony will be at ISE 2015 (stand 1.H120), expanding upon its theme of ‘Beyond Definition’. The focus will be on the company’s laser and UltraHD technologies, but other items will be featured.

The Vision Presenter solution is a way to send multiple types of content to a screen at once. A new upgrade adds previewing and mirroring capabilities; HDCP-supported connections; direct IP H.264 video; multiple display variations (such as single- or dual-screen and edge blend); and expanded content interaction, such as zoom and annotations. At ISE, the solution will be shown on a triple screen projection with multiple input sources.

On projection, Sony will show the VPL-FH700L (new) and VPL-FHZ55 (Display Monitor Vol 20 No 6) 3LCD laser projectors. The new model is said to be the world’s brightest laser projector, with 7,000 lumens of brightness. Like the VPL-FHZ55, it has 1920 x 1200 resolution. Another new model will be the VPL-GTZ1, which is an ultra-short-throw UltraHD projector.

Professional LCD displays in the Bravia line (55″, 65″ and 85″) will be shown. All of these have HTML5 support for signage, as well as control features. Bravia U-Touch will also be demonstrated, showcasing how the professional displays can be used with touchscreen technology.
