Sony has teamed up with the esports team Fnatic to create the Inzone M10S gaming monitor. It worked closely with Fnatic’s pro players, especially from the Valorant team, to shape the monitor’s features. Through play-testing and feedback, the team helped fine-tune elements like the 24.5-inch mode, which matches the size preferred in tournaments, and special FPS Pro modes for better motion clarity.
Ultimately, the Sony Inzone M10S is a 27-inch 1440p OLED gaming monitor with a 480Hz refresh rate and an ultra-fast response time of up to 0.03ms. The Inzone M10S features a 24.5-inch mode with a 1:1 resolution of 1332p and introduces new FPS Pro picture modes. It has a peak brightness of 1300 nits, DisplayHDR True Black 400, and a wide color gamut of DCI-P3 98.5%.
Sony also launched its Inzone M9 II at the same time. This is Sony’s upgraded 4K gaming monitor. The 27-inch 4K IPS display has a refresh rate of 160Hz and a response time of up to 1ms, coupled with full-array local dimming for enhanced contrast. Drawing from Sony’s Bravia TV range, the M9 II offers HDR peak brightness of 750 nits and supports VESA Certified DisplayHDR 600 This monitor also boasts a wide color gamut (DCI-P3 95%), Nvidia G-SYNC compatibility, and is perfect for use with PlayStation 5, according to Sony.
