Sony has topped off its recent pricing announcement by confirming the price of its new A8F OLED model in the US. (Sony Announces Pricing for 2018 LCD TVs)
The 55″ model from the new line will cost $3,000, with the 65″ size priced at $4,000, making it more expensive than the company’s flagship A1 OLED. The technical specifications between the A1 and the A8F are identical, except for an extra subwoofer on the A8F. The design of the A8F is new, apparently making it easier to wall-mount.
The A8F runs Android TV, supports Ultra HD resolution, HDR10 and HLG out of the box, with support for Dolby Vision coming via a future update, due in the summer. Pricing for the A8F and new pricing for the A1 is as follows.
