The data website, Statista has compiled IDC’s data on smartphones to create a chart that shows how the smartphone market is slowly becoming less and less about Samsung and Apple. The companies have been broadly flat or down in volume over the last couple of years and in Q3 2016 saw their lowest combined market share of 32.5% in Q3 2016, the lowest in five years.
