SmallHD Raises Sunlight Readability

SmallHD is a US-based company that produces small, high-resolution monitors for field work. The latest offering is the SmallHD 702 Bright: a 7″ sunlight readable model with 1,000 cd/m² of brightness.

In addition to the high brightness, the monitor features optical bonding and an anti-glare coating, to reduce reflections. SmallHD’s own Page Builder OS is installed on the unit; it can be used to create up to 12 pages for production, each populated with individual features such as scopes, looks or focus assists.

Resolution is 1920 x 1080. The monitor features both HDMI and SDI inputs. Prices start at $1,500.
