According to the UK’s Sunday Telegraph, BSkyB plans to launch an UltraHD service this spring – well ahead of the previous late 2015/early 2016 timeframe (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 18). A new STB will be launched as part of the move; as well as playing UltraHD content, the box will enable users to send content to mobile devices and store content in the cloud.
