Sky is preparing to launch its long-teased UltraHD service. The content will become available on the 13th August to customers using the Sky Q Silver box. This is – by no coincidence – the first day of the new Premier League football season. All 124 of Sky’s live matches will be broadcast in UltraHD, as will all of the next Formula One season. Sky will also have on demand content available.
