Sigma Designs announced FY17 Q4 result with net revenue at $42.7 million and EBITDA loss of $1.3 million. The net revenue has fallen by 17% on yearly basis, while the EBITDA had decreased drastically from a positive $3.1 million to a loss of $1.3 million.
The sales slump in the ‘Connected Smart TV platform’ business segment by almost $10 million from FY16 Q4 to FY17 Q4 greatly contributed to the depressed quarterly results. The same segment also witnessed a drastic revenue fall from $50.0 million in FY14 Q3 to $29.7 million in FY17 Q4.
