SID Investors’ Conference Highlights Emerging Technologies

SID is partnering with IHS and Cowen and Company for its 11th Annual Investors’ Conference, The event will take place during Display Week (31st May – 5th June, San Jose). The conference will last for one day (2nd June), with the theme ‘Trendspotting in the Emerging Display Ecosystem’. Topics will include quantum dots, wearables, OLEDs and immersive displays. (We plan to have a reporter at the event – Man. Ed.) QD Vision’s executive chairman, Steve Ward, will chair a panel at the Investors’ Conference. The company will also show TVs and monitors covering more than 90% of the Rec.2020 gamut; ‘market-ready’ monitors (covering 99% of Adobe RGB) and TVs; and its thin edge-optic for smaller displays, at stand 1,025.
