DSCC published a blog post by Ross Young (registration required) in which he picked out some highlights from what he saw at Display Week. He has some interesting comments on the LG Display foldable and the challenges of combining in- and out-folding features using UTG. He also got a picture of the 8K ELQD panel that wasn’t working by the time I went around to get a picture.
Young has done a lot of work on folding and flexible displays and this is highlighted in his coverage of panels from LGD, Samsung, BOE and CSOT.

This is worth a look if you are interested in folding OLEDs in smartphones, tablets or notebooks, or in TV panels. (BR)
