Shuttle Computer Group’s new DS87 signage player can drive up to three displays (1920 x 1080) at once. As well as supporting UltraHD resolution (on a single display), the slim PC can connect to multiple peripherals such as receipt printers and barcode scanners.

Measuring 1.3L, the DS87 uses heat-pipe cooling technology and industrial grade solid capacitors, to maintain 24/7 operation. It will work even in -50 deg temperatures. The unit can be set up to turn on and off at a specific time, and security is controlled through the Watchdog Timer function.

Running Windows 7/8 or Linux on Intel processors (Haswell Core i3/i5/i7), the DS87 uses an Intel H87 Express chipset., with dual-channel DDR3 RAM (up to 16GB). Multiple ports are featured: DisplayPort (x2), HDMI, VGA, USB 3.0 (x2), USB 2.0 (x6) , RS232, RS232/RS242/RS485, SATA 3 and SATA 6. Two mini-PCIe slots are also built in.

Shuttle is distributing the DS87 globally now. Price is on application.
