Sharp/NEC to Launch New PV800UL Laser Projector with Flexible Installation Capability

Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe announces the launch of its new NEC PV800UL laser projector, available in March 2023. The brighter PV800UL installation projector and its sister model, the PV710UL, are both compact in design, supporting flexible installations with wide lens selection and other key built-in features including ProAssist support for easy control and geometric adjustment.

The NEC PV800UL projector captivates users with bright and high-quality visuals. The compact model comes with built-in functionalities that make it attractive for exceptionally flexible installations: wide lens selection and geometric correction eliminate spatial distortions in the projected images and ProAssist support makes the projector easily controllable and adjustable. Fully compatible with previous generation lamp-based PA Series mechanical lenses and lens mount, Sharp/NEC customers can easily upgrade from lamp-based projection to benefit from the latest laser technology, reducing waste and minimizing costs.

“Our brand-new NEC PV800UL projector is ideal for usage in higher education as well as the leisure and hospitality sector where bright image quality is needed”, said Gerd Kaiser, Senior Product Manager Large Venue and Digital Cinema projection at Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe. “It brings flexibility and ease into these scenarios and creates an improved user experience due to several key features: excellent picture quality with 8,000 ANSI lumen brightness, the compact projector size, as well as changeable lenses and wide lens shift – users can easily replace their old PA Series lamp installations with the new PV laser models thanks to the same lenses, ceiling mount, and the same cable cover. All of these benefits come with the price attractive NEC PV800UL projector model with Laser Light Source technology.”
