Sharp Expands Dynamic, Interactive Line Of Touch Screen Displays

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC), announces a new 50″ Class (49.5″ diagonal) PN-L501C Aquos Board interactive display system, intended for “huddle space” meetings The unit is brighter than the previous 40″ model at 400 cd/m² and supports FullHD. Features include 10 point touch based on PCap and Sharp’s ‘Pen-on-Paper’ surface treatment and the unit can work with the Sharp 2mm point pen. The surface treatment resists fingerprints and scratches, the company said and has 3.2mm protective glass.

Inputs include VGA, Dual HDMIs and DisplayPort as well as audio and RS-232. There is a USB 2.0 hub and 10W stereo speakers. The display has the mini OPS port for modules including USB and LAN, Wireless and HDBaseT.
