Sharp Brings BigPad to Midwich

The ‘most advanced Big Pad model to date’ has been introduced by Sharp, and will be unveiled at Midwich Technology Exposed on 16th and 17th September (we will be attending – TA).

An 80″ collaborative touchscreen, the PN-80TC3 is designed for professional environments with multiple users, such as meeting rooms. It features procap touch technology and software to support multi-board configurations. 10 touch points are supported, and up to four people can use stylii at the same time. Touch Display Link 2.0 software means that up to 50 mobile devices can be used with the display at once.

Able to be installed in portrait or landscape modes, the PN-80TC3 uses a UV²A (VA) panel, with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 10-bit colour display. Viewing angles are 176°, response time is 4ms (grey-to-grey) and the screen has a 4,000:1 contrast ratio. Brightness is 300 cd/m².

DisplayPort, HDMI (x3), VGA (x2) and USB-B (x2) ports are featured, as well as two 10W speakers.

Sharp will hold a launch event for the display in October. It will cost £10,340 ($15,875) ex VAT.
