Sharp and TiVo Extend Interactive Program Guide Deal

TiVo has announced that Sharp will continue to use TiVo’s G-Guide HTML across its ranges of Ultra HD smart TVs and Blu-ray recorders in Japan, as well as TiVo’s G-Guide xD app and remote schedule recording service for its Blu-ray recorders. Additionally, Sharp has signed an expanded, multi-year licence for TiVo’s patent portfolios, enabling Sharp to build customisable content discovery services across its devices.
